RWC Community Service Programs

Club members choose programs and projects to participate in that are suited to their interests and talents. Our defined service programs are: Arts & Crafts, Gardening & Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, Public Issues, and Membership.

Examples of some of our volunteer service projects include:

  • RHS Senior Scholarships
  • Adopt a Road
  • Are you OK? (aka. RUOK?)
  • Bloodmobile
  • Breast Cancer Comfort Pillows (Make and Donate)
  • Ridgefield Community Center Tree Festival
  • Woman’s Center of Greater Danbury
  • Food Pantry Collections
  • Operation Smile
  • Ridgefield Historical Society/Keeler Tavern
  • Rocky Hill Veterans/Homes for the Brave
  • Children’s Holiday Gift Fund
  • Southbury Training School Gift Bags

Each year, Ridgefield Woman’s Club members collectively donate an average of 7,000 hours of volunteer service!
